Ratification results
The overwhelming majority of UFT members ratified the union's tentative contract agreement with the city and the DOE. The contract was approved by three-quarters of the nearly 96,000 members who cast ballots, according to a tally by the independent American Arbitration Association. The contract took effect immediately upon ratification.
